Bendigo Art Gallery in Bendigo, founded in 1887, is one of Australia’s oldest and largest regional art galleries. The Bendigo Art Gallery hosts Australia’s richest open painting prize, the Arthur Guy Memorial Painting Prize, worth $50,000, which was launched in 2003.

The Golden Dragon Museum is situated in the city of Bendigo, Victoria, Australia. The museum is dedicated to the history and culture of the Chinese people who immigrated to the region. Built on the historical site of one of Bendigo’s Chinatowns, the museum’s precinct also includes Chinese Gardens and a temple to Kuan Yin.

The historic Bendigo Post Office, built in 1887, is now home to Post Office Gallery as well as Bendigo Visitor Centre and the Living Arts Space. Established in 2010, Post Office Gallery is a satellite exhibition space of Bendigo Art Gallery providing an engaging platform for the interpretation and display of the myriad social history stories of the city and surrounding region.

Bendigo RSL Military Museum is a significant landmark both for the residents of the City of Greater Bendigo and for visitors to Bendigo. Volunteers staff the museum which catalogues, stores and displays a broad range of wartime memorabilia that has either been donated or loaned by individuals and organisations.
